Individual Counseling

Hi Gabrielle,
Thank you for the session last week. Sometimes I wonder if I am listening to  all the things you say or wonder whether they are sinking in but the mantra that Life  s for me not against me and telling myself that my actions are ok are all taking shape.

Regards,
Fiona

Hi Gabrielle,
Thanks for your email. It is funny how you mention the subconscious – today I was supposed to go into town for my massage course and got stuck in horrendous traffic (due to the rain). Anyway, I thought of your mantra to be “kind and gentle to  myself” so I turned the car around, cancelled my session and came home and spent the morning massaging my 2 boys.  Much better than being stuck in traffic and beating myself up about getting to a place on time.

I did feel guilty for a little while until I realised that I needed to own my feelings and it was OK to do this.  In  summary, I didn’t need to please someone else – and I had a lovely day with both my sons. Think I was a better Mum for it! Not so cranky…….

Thank you Gabrielle.
Regards
Marie

Wife:

“I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know that I found the session with you yesterday very good and I got a lot out of it (I think).  Early days yet!

Anyway I think both G. and I would like another session with you as a couple and I would be guided by you about how long it should be between each session and when we should schedule our next appointment.”

Husband:

“Hi Gabrielle.  Can I echo A.’s sentiments and say I too found our session very valuable. I had intended to send an email to that effect. I agree with A. additional sessions are needed so we’ll wait to hear back from you.”
